Concept Graph
A chord diagram of the eleven categories that organize the back-of-book concept index. Each node is sized by how many works carry concepts from that category. Each curve is weighted by how often two categories show up together in the same work — Religion and Freethought share many works; Tributes and Law share fewer.

How to read this
- Node size — number of distinct works that carry concepts from this category.
- Curve weight — number of works that carry concepts from both categories at either end.
- Layout — categories laid clockwise from the top in their canonical order; the layout is deterministic so the graph is comparable across builds.
- Provenance — the underlying concept assignments come from the concept index, generated from the printed Conway index and verified per work.
